This expanded cartridge display presents the 20mm Vulcan MK244 Enhanced Lethality RED APDS as a visual study of a modern large caliber autocannon round associated with naval close in weapon systems, most notably the Mk15 CIWS. The MK244 variant represents a later evolution of 20mm Vulcan ammunition, developed to improve effectiveness through updated projectile design while retaining compatibility with existing systems. Rather than focusing on function or weapons employment, this handmade model separates the cartridge into a clean, aligned configuration to illustrate internal construction and component relationships in a controlled, professional format intended for reference and educational display.
