Unlike metallic cartridges, the 12 gauge shotshell incorporates a multi component construction including hull, wad column, shot charge, and a distinctive three part primer system consisting of primer cup, anvil, and battery cup. Built from a fired open Winchester AA hull and paired with components from an unfired shell, this model exposes details rarely seen outside of advanced reloading benches. The engraved base permanently diagrams the anatomy directly beneath the separated components, creating a true instructional reference piece.
